RX-1 mini supports MCT, Holter, Extended Holter and Event Recorder testing, so monitoring duration depends on the prescribed test. The device has a typical five-day rechargeable battery life.
The patient wears the monitor as prescribed, keeps it charged as directed and follows the care team’s instructions. Built-in cellular and Wi-Fi connectivity facilitate data transmission without requiring patient intervention, and the water-resistant device can remain on while showering.
RX-1 mini is designed to make extended monitoring easier to accommodate during everyday routines. Its compact, one-piece design and lack of lead wires to tangle help reduce the amount of equipment patients need to manage while working, moving through the day and spending time at home.
RX-1 mini uses onboard ECG signal processing and built-in cellular and Wi-Fi connectivity to transmit recorded cardiac information for professional review. Transmission and availability depend on connectivity and the prescribed monitoring service. RX-1 mini is not intended for real-time arrhythmia alarm monitoring.
The Rhythm Express remote cardiac monitoring system is intended for patients greater than 10 kg who have or are at risk of cardiac disease, as well as patients who demonstrate intermittent symptoms indicative of cardiac disease and require continuing cardiac monitoring.
